In October 2026 I travelled to Jæren, on the coast south of Stavanger, for Surf Fest Scandinavia, the Scandinavian longboard championship. Latitud 59 is a personal project about cold water surfing and the community that keeps it alive. The series moves between long beaches and dunes, red boathouses facing the sea and fishing villages tucked between fjords. It pairs high contrast black and white with the real colour of boards, wetsuits and painted wood.
